Note the unit is located above the garage and requires walking up a set of stairs to the front door. Inside is a small living room, kitchen and small eating area. There is one bedroom with a comfy king bed and a couch in the living area that folds down into a sofa sleeper. There is 3/4 bath with a shower. This unit does not include any outdoor living space. As with all properties in this highly desirable area, parking is very tight and our garage door opening is 94" wide and 180" deep. However, it's common for cars to stick out of the garage about 12-18", leaving the garage door open (so it acts more like a carport). Most mid-sized SUVs should fit but please verify your car measurements to be sure. There is also free street parking and a few free parking lots nearby. Please Note: This is an authentic, nearly 100-year-old beach cottage—rich in vintage character, with creaky floors, low ceilings, and charming quirks. It’s not a modern hotel, but it’s full of heart, history, and unbeatable access to everything Mission Beach has to offer. This property also requires walking up one flight of stairs to access the front door and does not contain any outdoor spaces. It's on the right when facing the home. Most mid-sized SUVs and smaller should fit but please verify your car measurements to be sure. Our garage door opening is 94" wide and 180" deep. Please be courteous to neighbors and do not park in alleys, in front of neighbors’ homes, or in red zones (even just for 2 minutes!) — you will be subject to fines and towing by the city. For alternative parking: Mission Boulevard has street parking available (please double-check signage for street sweeping days). You can also find free overnight parking just a few blocks away on El Carmel Street, especially near the Rowing Club area. 🧺 Shared Amenities Shared laundry is located on the side of the house. You’re welcome to use it during your stay, just be courteous of others who may also want to access it. 🏖️ Beach Gear Disclaimer Guests are welcome to use any beach toys or chairs found on-site, but availability can vary. 🧘 Noise & Neighborhood Please respect quiet hours after 10 PM. This is a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood, but the homes are close together, so it’s not uncommon to hear neighbors or nearby activity at night (if you are a light sleeper). No Parties or Events No parties, gatherings, or disruptive activities. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. Maximum Occupancy Guest count (including infants) cannot exceed what is listed on the platform. Non-Smoking Policy Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the property, including cigarettes, vapes, and e-cigarettes. A cleaning/deodorizing fee will be charged if smoking occurs indoors or smoke odor is detected after checkout. Furniture & Items Do not move large furniture or take items outside. Any items moved must be returned to original position before check-out. Laundry Laundry is located outside the unit. Clean up after use and remove items promptly for others to use. We had a wonderful stay at this place in San Diego. The space was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The location was great—close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful. Check-in was smooth, and communication was clear and helpful. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay, and we would happily return on a future trip. Highly recommended!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean and and perfectly located - walking distance from parks, coffee and of course the beach. Kendra was responsive and check-in was easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free stay by the beach.

Kendra’s home is perfect for a couples getaway. The location is right in the hub of Mission Beach and Belmont Park. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, especially at night. We got a good nights sleep while we were there. The bed and linens were soft and comfortable. The kitchen includes everything you need as far as cooking equipment and utensils. I was able to check out a little later than the website stated by simply asking. Kendra always responds very quickly. I would definitely book her home again. Thank you for such a nice place to stay!

Such a cute beach condo located within walking distance to both the bay and Mission Beach! It was perfect for my partner and I for a 3 night stay. We slept very well every night. It was so quiet and the AC worked well. The garage was such a blessing because we didn’t see any open street parking at all while we were there. We rented a Jeep Compass and it was tight turning into the garage (probably due to my inept parking skills!) but was able to back in easier than driving straight in. Next time will rent a small car if possible. Kendra was an awesome host who was friendly, responsive and accommodating. This condo is going to be on my favorite Airbnb list!
